Key ideas — for reference

  • Getting overwhelmed easily is a sign of ambition, not weakness — but without a system we become the cause of our own chaos.
  • Eyes bigger than the stomach: ambition outruns capacity, and half the plate goes to waste.
  • The root cause is too many goals, too much ambition in different directions.
  • 'Everything I do is synergistic' is usually a story. It is dilution, not an ecosystem.
  • Just because something is working for someone else does not mean it is the highest use of your time in your season.
  • Attention is currency: a fixed daily balance you spend on scrolling, comments, research and shiny objects.
  • Most of your stress comes from false requirements and self-imposed standards you invented yourself.
