My notes
“The way we eliminate overwhelm is to eliminate goals.

Key ideas — for reference
- More than one big goal means competing goals — often hidden ones you have not admitted to.
- You can do it all, but not at the same time. Choose your season with intention.
- An impossible goal should make you say out loud: 'I have absolutely no idea how I would do that.'
- If you already know how you would achieve it, it is too small.
- 2X is achieved by doing more of the same; 10X forces you to abandon linear thinking.
- Simplicity scales, complexity fails.
- The whole point of a goal is to simplify a system — the big goal should derail the other goals.
- Entropy is real: without intention we drift from order to chaos. Refocusing is a daily practice.
